SharkBite 3/4" Push-to-Connect Repair Coupling makes pipe connections easier and more reliable with half the insertion effort and double the burst pressure resistance. Featuring a newly designed stainless-steel retainer, this coupling delivers enhanced strength and durability while maintaining a 250 psi pressure rating. Slip couplings are the most efficient solution for repairing burst pipes or leaks, as they combine the function of two couplings and extra pipe into one fitting. One end of the coupling has a stop, while the other slides freely over the pipe, allowing for a smooth connection and leak repair using a disconnect tool. This fitting includes a disconnected clip and is certified by UPC, IAPMO, and NSF-61. It is designed for use with copper pipes only, rated for temperatures up to 200°F and pressure up to 250 psi, and made from a single piece of DZR brass. The fittings are suitable for burial and can be installed behind drywall. They are removable, reusable, and individually bagged. Manufactured with less than 0.25% weighted average lead content on wetted surfaces, this product complies with U.S. and Canadian plumbing codes and comes with a 25-year warranty when installed properly on PEX, copper, CPVC, and PE-RT, and a five-year warranty on HDPE SDR-9.
