Featuring a one-piece carbide-tipped core bit, it cuts a precise kerf, requiring the operator to remove the inside core before continuing deeper drilling. For improved accuracy, using the centering bit 48-20-5495 is recommended, while the drift key 48-20-5497 helps remove the centering bit from the core bit. Available with SDS Max or spline shanks, these core bits come in diameters from 1-1/2 inches to 6 inches, with overall lengths of 11-3/8 inches or 22 inches and a drilling depth of 3 inches. The asymmetric tooth pitch with alternating tooth geometries enhances material pulverization speed. Its one-piece design ensures maximum energy transfer, and the thick wall core body provides durability even in large hammers.
