Flood E-B Emulsa Bond Stir-In Bonding Paint Primer Additive, 1 Gallon assures latex paint adhesion to chalky, dusty, or glossy surfaces on wood, masonry, weathered asbestos, and aluminum siding. It mixes easily with latex paints, reducing stirring time and enhancing the bonding of paint to surfaces, which maximizes hiding strength. This additive also improves flow and lubricates when using airless spray equipment, reducing equipment wear by up to 50% and allowing for lower spraying pressure, thereby extending the life of the pump. The normal mixing ratio is 1 quart of Emulsa-Bond to 1 gallon of latex paint. It can be applied by brush, roller, or spray and allows the paint to be topcoated in 4 hours or less. This product will not affect the color of the paint and cleans up easily with soap and water. It is not recommended for use with gloss paints and should be rinsed thoroughly after use.
