EZ Straw Processed Straw Erosion Blanket, 4 x 50 ft. is designed to provide effective short-term erosion control on hillsides, slopes, and other vulnerable areas. This 200 square foot biodegradable blanket helps promote seed germination while stabilizing soil. Featuring a single-side, photo-degradable netting, the blanket offers initial strength but naturally degrades in sunlight over 3 to 4 months. After the netting dissolves, the mat loosens, allowing the straw to be easily chopped up during mowing. To prevent straw from accumulating in your grass, it is recommended to use a bagger for the first two mowing sessions. This eco-friendly solution ensures both erosion control and ease of maintenance.
